This year, the Oscars did not disappoint. From the winners, the host, and even the fashion, it was an all around great show. But the red carpet is one pre-show event that every girl lives for! Here are the top fashion forwards and flops of the night.
THE GOOD
1) Jennifer Lawrence (aka JLaw) : This girl is bound to be bigger than the Hunger Games and is on her way to becoming a leading fashion icon after she pulled off that stunning ball gown by Dior Haute Couture.
2) Amy Adams: One of her best choices to date was this Oscar de la Renta feathered number and I know many will disagree on this, but it worked for her. It made her look like a princess for the night.
3) Nicole Kidman: In an L'Wren Scott and straight from the catwalk, this dress is perfect since the sequences are not overwhelming her overall look. It looks effortless.
4) Salma Hayek: Dressed in Alexander McQueen, the black velvet on the bottom of the dress made the gold sequined neckline stunning and pop out. Very queen-like!
5) Catherine Zeta-Jones: Zuhair Murad dress embarked on old Hollywood glam that the 40's and 50's are famous for. The details of the dress are a wonder of their own.
THE BAD
1) Helena Bonham Carter: Even though I love her, this was bad in so many ways. But then again this is what she is known for and that's her style.
2) Kristen Stewart: Not for the dress, but for her entire look. Her hair was a mess, she looked uncomfortable in the dress, and it was just an overall disaster.
3) Anne Hathaway: A very badly constructed dress that was giving everyone a little too much of a show.
